About K & S Contractors, Inc.
We are a family-owned and operated roofing company, working to keep residential and commercial clients out of the rain and sun. We consider ourselves to be the dentists of the construction world - you don’t generally know you need our help until you are in an emergency type situation. We save the day by fixing your roofing problems and offering apt solutions. We are ready to help 24/7.
We incorporated in GA on February 23, 1994, as general contractors. Before my father started building entire buildings, he was a framer and got his start framing homes in the ’80s for John Wheelen Homes. In 2011, we got a Duro-Last Roofing certification, and our roofing career took off. Slowly we got away from taking on new clients for general contracting, and a roofing company was born. Since then, we haven’t looked back.
Although we are located in Powder Springs, GA, we extend our services to clients from Huntsville, AL to Chattanooga, TN, down to McDonough, GA, and back over to Gadsden, AL and beyond.
Since our inception, we have been consistently moving forward. We accomplish more work every passing year, and we constantly work to stay on top of the roofing sector by learning new methods and techniques day after day. We have recently been certified through GAF Commercial TPO Roofing, and now can offer EverGuard®️ TPO in all its variety of mils and colors. We are passionate about our work and can’t wait to see what tomorrow holds.
We work hard to solve our clients’ roofing problems and issues all through the year, but due to the storms and rain, we usually expect winter to be slow. However, we work hard when we can and never really seem to decelerate. Our fervor and dedication towards our work are unparalleled.

We work with a variety of projects that demand unique solutions, but we repeatedly work with residential and commercial roof maintenance plans. These plans consist of bi-annual visits to our clients, which help increase the longevity of our clients’ existing roofs. Besides, we often work on installations and repairs.
One aspect that makes us second to none is our involvement in the construction industry in the past. In the roofing industry, you find all kinds of building structures and roof lines. There is always a problem area that doesn’t show up in any manual, and people have had multiple companies try to get a leak stopped. Our experience in having built the whole building in the past really helps us to assess a situation beyond that of someone who has only ever been a roofer. Doing above and beyond makes us proud and keeps our customers satisfied.
What sets us apart from the rest of our competitors is that when we do commit any mistakes, we rise to the challenge. We do what we know to be right in fixing every bump in the road with as little bother to our client. Another aspect of our business that makes us unparalleled is that we don’t look at our customers as numbers. For us, they are our friends and neighbors. We don’t want to make a killer profit off of one person but treat every client well so that we don’t just end up working for you, but also your family, friends, and neighbors. It’s our whole business module that helps us serve better.
We follow a strict code of ethics and value integrity and honesty. These are the principles that help us continue to grow in our field year after year. As far as job performance is considered, we have consistently grown over 15% every year for the past four years.
While we’ve achieved numerous goals in the past, our dream for the future is to extend our services to more clients and help them meet their roofing requirements. We also hope to witness an increase in the growth of our business.
While we are really passionate about what we do, we also care about protecting the environment and the earth. We are certified to install many “energy star” rated roofing products. We can operate almost paperless. Especially being a small family-owned business, we don’t have to print every report or memorandum. We mostly meet over lunch or dinner. My personal vehicle is a hybrid. We are conscious of the world around us and want the earth to be healthy for our children, and our children’s children.
